Jellyfish

The sea is full of so many interesting creatures.  Most of us identify most of these creatures as beautiful, but offer no danger.  Everyone will identify sharks, barracuda, or jellyfish as dangerous.  The truth is almost all creatures are dangerous under the right conditions.   That do not change that fact that these animals are still beautiful.  Divers quickly learn to give a healthy distance to sea life.  Hikers also learn to view from a distance, especially where mothers and their young are concerned.  Sadly, many who enjoy the sea do not recognize some sea life as the fragile life that they are.  One of my excursions into coastal area found such a person.  A woman was standing on top of coral.  I informed her that that would kill the coral, and she temporarily got off the coral, only to return when I swam away.  I hope my photography will help people think about locations, beauty, and the environment in a new way.
